Eleanor graduated with a BA Honours in French and German from Leeds University, including a year spent as a teaching assistant in a school in south-west Germany and a semester in St. Etienne, France.  Keen to experience life on the continent, she then moved to Paris and taught English to students at Paris XII Université Val de Marne for two years.  After a brief stint as Head of Sales in a magic and juggling shop, Eleanor decided to move into the charity sector, following a long-held interest in this field and participation in numerous voluntary projects in the UK and abroad.  Moving back to London, she supervised a charity Christmas card project before joining international sight saving organisation ORBIS, where she became Fundraising Manager of the major gifts portfolio.  After a period of travel in 2010, Eleanor returned to the UK and worked as a Private PA before joining Montanaro in August 2011, where she is enjoying making good use of her varied work experience in her new role.
