When not in the office, John enjoys a variety of sports activities including Kayaking, Surfing, Go-Karting and running.

His real passion, however, is to travel. Since leaving university he has travelled extensively, through Europe, North Africa, Asia and Australasia. His greatest adventure to date has been participating in the Mongol Rally; driving a 1982 Rover Mini 8000 Kms from Hyde Park in London to Ulaan Bataar in Mongolia, through the desert in Kazakhstan and the forests of Siberia.
