After gaining a degree in Banking & Finance, Matthew went to work on the Far East Desk at Schroder Investment Management looking after World ex UK equities for a Japanese client base.  During this time he successfully completed the IMC and IIMR examinations.

Having left Schroders, Matthew moved on to cover Client Relations at a boutique long short hedge fund start up before spending two years as a Senior Performance Analyst at Henderson Global Investors.

Matthew joined Montanaro in October 2006, and was appointed Compliance Officer in April 2010.
