Most of Nicola’s spare time these days is spent with her husband.  Fortunately, they share the same interests – although he’s not quite as keen on First World War history as she is, and she doesn’t share his passion for Doctor Who and James Bond!  Nicola loves music and plays the piano (fairly badly).  She also enjoys art (favourite painter: JMW Turner) and literature (favourite book: The Thirty-Nine Steps).
