Amin graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C where he spent four years studying international relations, law and diplomacy. He joined Merrill Lynch in London in 1994 as a financial consultant looking after high net-worth clients and covering the markets in the Middle East and Greece. During this time he completed the FSA, Series 7 and Series 3 certified examinations. In 1998 he subsequently moved to CIBC Oppenheimer as a Director, helping to develop Middle East coverage for large multi-family offices and institutions in the areas of managed and structured products. At the beginning of 2001, Amin decided to join Optimise Capital as an Equity product specialist, taking responsibility for sales and distribution within Europe and the Middle East and focusing on mutual funds and structured solutions. Amin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Amin joined Montanaro in May 2007.
