Veikko enjoys spending time with his friends, eating and making good food, and has a keen interest in wine. He can therefore be found annually at the Taste of London Festival, a Grand Cru tasting in Bordeaux and whenever possible with friends at the family summer cottage in Western Finland.

Veikko has also taken advantage of the excellent travel connections from London. He has traveled to India, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Central America and to many European destinations in the past few years. Travel also provides him the chance for photography, which he unfortunately has too little time for in London.
