Prior to joining Montanaro Veikko worked for RBS in London as a sell-side analyst covering the European Oil Services sector. He began his career at RBS in Helsinki in 2004 at Alfred Berg ABN Amro where he covered Finnish small caps and the Nordic media sector. Before that he spent three years with mergers and acquisitions at Icecapital Securities in Helsinki.

Veikko has also worked with Evli Bank in Helsinki and San Francisco in equity research and in asset management. Veikko holds an MSc in economics (with a major in finance) from the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. He is Finnish and fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Veikko joined Montanaro in June 2009.
