David gained his undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds in Chemistry (First Class) in 2005.  As part of his degree, he undertook a year of study in USA. He went on to complete a Masters in Chemistry at Leeds the following year.

On graduating, David joined Fox-Pitt, Kelton (now part of Macquarie Group), a global financial services focussed boutique, as an Investment Banking Analyst.  During his 2 years there, he worked on a number of M&A and private equity transactions in the private and public sector across the insurance, consumer finance and miscellaneous financials space.

David joined Montanaro in April 2010.
