Following an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Linköping, Sweden in 1985, Anders started working with capital rationalisation for Swedish Telecom before joining Electrolux in 1988. There he had a number of varied assignments such as sales and product management based at different locations (Sweden, Italy and Switzerland).

However, in spite of a successful international career within manufacturing, some friends convinced Anders that his future lay in finance and consequently offered him the chance to join a start-up as an equity analyst on the sell-side (ABG Securities) in 1997.

He became partner in March 2001 and a CFA charter holder before the firm merged with Askia Invest and Sundal Collier in October the same year to form ABG Sundal Collier ASA, a listed and highly ranked Nordic investment bank. During the past few years, Anders’ focus was to follow machinery & engineering stocks before he decided to move to the buy-side in 2008.
