Adam joined the Army from school and, on completing his training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, served as a Platoon Commander with the Black Watch.  From the Army Adam went on to study at the University of York, graduating in 2003 with a First in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and taking the PPE school Finals prize.

After graduating Adam returned to Scotland to work for the Alliance Trusts, spending time in their retail banking and investment business before settling in equity research.  During this time he completed the IMC and Securities & Investment Institute Diploma in Investment Regulation & Compliance.  Adam is currently studying a part-time MSc in Finance & Financial Law with the University of London and working towards his CFA level III exams.

Adam joined Montanaro in January 2006.
