After completing her degree in Business Administration, Valeria joined Baring Brothers as an analyst in the Milan Corporate Finance team. 

In 1996, she joined Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank in London, where she spent six years working in the M&A department and the Consumer Services Corporate Finance group. She worked on a variety of assignments in several sectors, including chemicals, utilities, household appliances, luxury goods and sports retailing, focusing on the Italian and other Western European markets. She was in the team which advised Richemont on the acquisition of Mannesmanns Les Manufactures Horlogeres and De’Longhi on its acquisition of Kenwood Appliances.

Valeria holds a degree in Business Administration from Universita’ Cattolica in Milan. She is Italian and fluent in English, Spanish and French.

Valeria joined Montanaro in January 2002.
